Reign is a half-life 2 modification which focuses on the time period between 166-180 A.D and the Marcomannic wars. The Marcomanni were a Germanic tribe which were forced out of their homeland by the growing Gothic population. With nowhere to go , they were forced to settle into the Roman Empire , which sparked off the epic Marcomannic Wars between the Germanic tribes and the legions of the Roman Empire.
Players in this mod will take up arms and fight to defeat the mighty Roman Empire in fierce multiplayer battles. Combat consists of weapons used during that time period, including Swords, spears, use of sheilds, catapults, slings, javelins and other melee and short range attack weapons.
