heh, efficient isn't a "steam employee" wtf? he moderates the forum and the irc channel, but other than that i dont believe he works at valve or is working on the steam project AT ALL.

could be wrong though, but everything he has said before is simply echoing what people at valve have told the public.

Efficient works for Steam software. Steam knows when HL2 is released because Steam will have it up on the release date.
