IGN says that the game SHOULD be released around February or March of Next Year.

It's Old News though, but it still looks pretty fresh. :)

That means it WILL be released about June or so.

It was actually Nov 29, and they pushed back the date to Dec 20 a few days before.
 
ill be its next christmas due to hackers getting it off some valve employes e-mail then they use that as an excuse to wast more time
 
It's not wasted time lol, they'll turn it into the best damn expansion ever.
 
My source for release dates now has a date for a DVD version of Aftermath slated for late February.
 
Just goes to show, when Valve says 'estimated' release date, you can certainly take them at their word!

It's not an expansion, damn you! It's an episodic installment in an on-going series :p

Since the DVD version of Aftermath only appeared on their list a week ago, I would assume that EA gave them a reasonable estimate to go with the product details. In this case, EA believes late February is a good time to expect Aftermath to hit the shelves.

It's even more of a shame, im forced to buy the retail copy. Soon to be fixed, with steam accepting paypal/switch though :)
 
Meh, as much as I'd like to give my money directly to Valve, I'd rather have a physical copy. Don't know why, just seems more reliable.

But yeah- download issues aside, I'd still prefer a hardcopy too. That's just how I am :O
 
It's psychological.

My HL2 won't install from the DVD now anyway, so it's just aswell I can download it!
 
I just keep all the gcf files on my back-up drive, just as good as having cds, and if i can be bothered to, i could just burn those to dvd and it would be almost identical to the retail version.
 
My steam news won't load up so I'll be going retail ;)

haha i get a athlon64 3500+ :p , but anyways , its always better to buy a copy rather than downloading it.

I hope that's completely wrong, but what's scary... if they have it listed for April 24, it will probably be more like June 24.
 
haha, this is fun actualy, looking at the earlier posts... Now i think it will be somwhere in march/april. Maybee for My birthday! That whould be nice.
