Either way 1 of the two major HL2 fansites is lying becuase of the Email from here and the other guys email......

The sites have nothing to do with it: it's just two people.

What annoys me is they think Halflife2.net has a strategic bashing campaign against them out of some misplaced feeling of loyalty to HL2net. I'm sorry HL radio, but I'm not bashing you because I belong to HL2.net, I'm discussing you because pissed me off as an individual.

Sheesh...It wouldn't matter if I was posting at HL2.net, HL2.co.uk, HL2.gov.us or HL2.abracadabra, if you bullshit people, they get angry.

It makes me laugh that they think the site owners need to put down Half-Life Source. Why? It's not like HLS is any competition.

It's not like the HL2.net site owners and moderators have any reason for animosity towards them, it's just that it is hard not to talk about the fact that HLR has given us unreliable information in the past, especially when there is little else to talk about.

Hell I tune in every time they make one of these claims, and every time I tune out of the show at 3 in the morning cursing them. But yeah, it's not THAT that annoys me, is it? Oohh no, it's the fact I visit the HL2.net forums...

what some people should do is stop emailing Valve about every rumour circulating the net. I'm not saying it would delay the developement of HL2 (which it doesn't, Valve probably answers emails when their home and not working...duh) but what would you think if someone emailed you every five minutes about a release date or... or the physics, or AI or...At least make sure you won't repeat the same questions asked two days ago.

why don't somebody just call up valve on the phone and record it, ask them a few questions about HLR/HLS's so called 'facts' and see if they are correct.
