i dont know if its right, but i think like after 2 weeks after a preload of a game,it will be released?

i dont know where i got it from, but i think it sounds good

what do you think, that it will release this month (august) or it will be (such a suprise :flame: ) delayed :hmph:

The game hasn't even been to RC stages yet, once that happens in 10 days time, I reckon it could take 4-8 weeks until it releases.

It's not Vivendi's fault. Valve haven't finished polishing the game yet. Vivendi isn't anything at all to do with the process yet, not until they receive a release candidate, which then will go under extensive testing by Vivendi's QA department.

You are right, to a certain degree!!! VU has the power to hold the game and release at a time that they think is appropriate, as do all publishers...:flame: Makes me mad ya know...

I think VU is everything to do with the delay. The bug fixing is just an excuse while VU delays the game for the holiday season.

Otherwise Valve is just slow at fixing bugs. They were estimating completion almost a month ago!

Valve WILL send a RC to VU and VU will release the game within moments notice. Or anyway, they better...:flame: :sniper:

A September release is extremely unlikely. The game has not yet met RC status, and even in the unlikely event that the first RC makes it through, we're still looking at an early October release.

I agree. Unless it goes Gold tommorow (which it won't due to this whole RC business), I don't see this game coming out in September. Looks to me like October is the new candidate for release.
