Black is the wrong way to think about it, black is what you get when you close your eyes.KoreBolteR said:so you think it just goes black?
theres gotta be another life..
just my opinion.
im not religious nor athiest.
skeptical and i believe in science mostly.
The closest you can possibly "feel" to death, although you cannot feel nothing, is when you are asleep but not dreaming, you do not have any senses as such, i mean you cannot remember a thing from when you are asleep other than when dreaming.
It is literal nothingness, quite a terrifying thought, i can completely understand anyone who rejects it straight away because it is very hard to comprehend.
As far as an afterlife goes, even if there was "heaven and hell" or "karma" ........you know you are punished for being "bad" and rewarded for being "good", i wouldn't let it effect how i live, how can anything else judge what you do?......i mean you wouldn't do anything else, if a god or anything else wants to put me in "hell" **** him, it's not as if i have much choice anyway.
I think the actual meaning of the heaven and hell in the bible is on a more realistic sense, the fact that if you go round doing evil things you will most likely have evil things done to you, and vise versa.
Sometimes i have thought about death to much and almost gone nuts, but what always keeps me sane is the fact that i have something now, and if i look after myself i should at least have a few more years to experience things.
Sitting there thinking about death makes you a very sad person, i know from experience.
