Resident Evil 4...

You guys got way off topic. If you want to discuss this, create a new thread, or better yet, don't. There are many Nintendo fans on this forum, and it would only start a riot. Believe me, I know. Don't think it's funny to piss someone off, lest you get pissed on yourself.

Stay on topic please I don't want to listen to people argue about how mature they are

Thanks!

You're right Virus. I get carried away :/

//back on topic.

How are you guys doing in the Mercenries mini game? Some ppl online claim to have crazy high scores :) So far i've unlocked all the characters bar the last, but have yet got 5 stars on any course.

Assignment Ada was also very good imo - on par with the best bits of the main game.

Just imagine waht Resident Evil 5 is going to be like on next gen hardware *jaw hits floor*

I thought I'd ressurect this old thread as oppose to starting a new one.

Was it just me or was the end boss stupidly easy? Like the easiest out of all the bosses?

Yeh - that was a bit weird. A few shots with an uber magnum and he was dog meat.

He's harder on proffesonal mode, but not by much. Certainly nothing compared to ....
fighting that big mutha in the barn. Greatest boss ever?

Are you talking about the place that was on fire? Yeah, that was all kinds of cool.

Ya i was watching my bro play it the other day, seriously amazing game. Story, gameplay, gfx, sound you name it. I really hope they come out with something on the pc.

You'll find plenty of adults who love Nintendo games. Very, very few of their titles are geared towards the under 13's. Infact one of the reasons they're so popular is because ppl of all ages and both genders enjoy their games so much.

You'll also find that more often than not it's teenagers who criticise Nintendo for being 'kiddy', and are only into games that involve blowing shit up with pretty gfx. Luckily, adolescence doesn't last forever, and they grow out of it.

Haha and unfortunately some people don't.

I'm thinking about picking up the game on Friday, would you recommend it? (Although, if i remember correctly the last game you recommended to me was Metroid Prime, which i thought was actually pretty boring)

This is slightly different. Although Metroid Prime consistently got good reviews, many ppl didn't get on with it. Resident Evil 4 has gotten nothing but amazing reviews, and the I haven't met anyone who doesn't love it.

At the very worst I think you'll play it through once and thoroughly enjoy the experience. I have finished it 3 times now (proffesional mode is very neat) and spent a good few hours on the extras.

The only downside I can think of is that normal difficulty is can be a little too easy (loads of health and ammo), which detracts from the tension. Long periods of play can also prove to be slightly repetitive (which is the same for most games)

You can tell a great game when just talking/writing about it makes you want to start the experience all over again.
Just buy it, it's fantastic :)

Yes, go buy it. Maybe it's because I suck at suspense games, but I certainly have found normal difficulty plenty challenging. I hate those damn swamps too, I always waste too many shells there. Arghh.
