Check out the video here.

Its dark, but very interesting to see and hear the recording of what will be very common sound themes used in Microsoft's next OS knowing that the founding member of the legendary King Crimson had a hand in it!

I think they're going about this a bit too seriously...
 
:O That is awesome. Hooray for Fripp. I was kicking myself when the Wolverhampton Porcupine Tree w/ Robert Fripp show sold out. :(
 
Yeah, but you can hear it. And it sounds good.
 
Sounds quite lame. Too spacey and annoying. At least it'll only be 2-6 seconds long I suppose.
 
Oh man that band was amazing! This is going to make getting a Critical Stop much nicer. :p
 
Whenever they play the background sound the only thing I can think of is


"..space... the final frontier..."
