Actually, I pretty much abhor metal. The closest I come to it is NIN, which I've always considered to be more industrial rock/pop. I think the only thing I can really agree with in this topic is "Creep" by Radiohead. They've done shitloads better, but I personally haven't met somebody who doesn't like it.
