well delays are actualy good for this HUGE game, i am supporting them all the whay.
like i did for HL2, delays delays, but it was worth it.

I'll take delays any day of the week if they're able to pull off what they're trying to pull off. Finally a game that is attempting to break the mold of, what has become to me at least, an incredibly stale and boring genre (including HL2, IMO). Will they be able to pull it off? I have no idea, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove me wrong.

I just hope it doesn't have a crappy story. That could ruin the single player for me and the multiplayer does not look special.

Kid huh? Ouch that hurts. I'm 28 though, how old are you? So many ignorant kids these days, :shakes head. By the way, it's "desensitized" but I'm sure someone as well schooled as yourself knew that already. Yes the genre bores me. The fact that FPS games have become stale and boring to me has absolutely nothing to do with violence levels. More violence in a game doesn't make it better. One day when your balls drop you may realize this to be true.

Open ended environments (i.e. not on rails), dynamic enemy numbers and movement, lightweight RPG elements, inventory and many other subtle features will help this game redefine the bounds of what an FPS can be. Now I just hope they can pull it off.

sry I was only kiddin , yes the spelling In America is desensitized.. but in Great Britain, where.. if im correct.. the slightly mutated american spelling origionated from anyway. its spelled out with an s instead of z. http://onlinedictionary.datasegment.com/word/desensitised

other than that I disagree with your opinion on present games being stale and boring it depends what floats your boat I guess, but i dont disagree with the fact that more needs to be done with the genre.
