Scariest experience of my life.

Deja Vu sucks sometimes I get it so bad I purposely have to do something I know is uniquely new to make the episode stop.

I'll be sitting there thinking like "I'm still having god damned deja vu I swear this happened before" and then I'll like flick my shoe or something completely off to make it be different and new.

I wanna know the explanation from a real medical doctor for deja vu though.

You're a nut! You're crazy in the coco-nut.

My dad fell asleep at the wheel once. He was heading home from a friend's place, thought he'd taken some painkillers for a headache before leaving. Starting feeling drowsy, then blacked out and slid off the road, pranged someone's BMW and hit a tree. Totalled the car but got out with scrapes and bruises.

Turns out he'd accidentally taken a couple strong muscle relaxants or sleep pills or something >_>

Sounds like a pretty generic halucination.
Don't get me wrong, it's unusual, but misfires in the brain are pretty much proven to cause the sort of thing you experienced, which has led to tons of "ufo abductions", religious visions and etc.

It's rather common that they happen while driving, especially at night. Large, round objects are one of the key images also.

The good news is that such things aren't a direct sign of mental illness. Really more of a mental snafu.

well, its not lupus....

It's never lupus (first rule of House) :D

Deja Vu is the evil without a shadow of a doubt. Because of it's infrequency I'm not sure how it can be monitored though...

Random experience, a lot of people would associate that with a UFO experience.

I have depersonalization to a certain degree and i don't think it's that, your mind is a complex electro chemical computer, occaisionall things will go wrong and of course your conciousness is based as a whole around those proccesses.....some sketchy stuff can be made in your head.
Your mind may interpret these glitches in all manner of strange ways.
