"Scary" HL2 Maps.

I'm a fan of horror maps, so I thought i would make this thread.

The point of this thread is for me to give you a bunch of links to scary/horror maps, and you comment on them and tell us (us as in the community) which one(s) were the scariest and least scariest.

Alrighty.......here we goes. I may add more soon. Don't be a pussy- try these maps out!

WHAT THE HELL? when i went to fps banana it told me that the site could hurt my computer i proceded and THANK GOD KASPERSKY INTERNET SECURITY intercepted about 7 of high level viruses and destroyed them! im curently scanning my computer for more but the question remains ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FRIGGING MIND LINKING ME TO THAT SITE!!!!

FPSB is temporarily infected. It's usually a great, awesome, VERY popular site dude. It got infected today, I didn't expect it.

EDIT: Jo291, Im very sorry. BUT here are the REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS! :D

Removal instructions

Use Task Manager to terminate the Trojan process.
Delete the original Trojan file (its location will depend on how it initially penetrated the victim machine).
Delete the files created by the Trojan:

%System32%\KB896425.log
c:\nxldr.dat

Delete the following system registry keys:

[HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetWorkLogo n]

Update your antivirus databases and perform a full scan of the computer.

i never downloaded the file because my browser stoped responding and i scaned my computer like about 10 times and updated it before that. also all the viruses were denied by my antivirus when they tried to enter my computer. and again i never downloaded the file so does that mean theres still a trojan in my computer?

First of all, are you using Windows XP or Vista?

Go to My Computer, and click on your C: drive. If you DONT see a file called nxldr.dat, then most likely your computer is safe.

Also, go to C:\Windows\System32\ and search for this file: KB896425.log .

If both those files are NOT in your computer, then you are safe. And from the sounds of your antivirus intercepting the viruses, it sounds like your not infected.

Anyway, I had the screamer maps on my computer before FPSB was infected.

I re-uploaded them to a safe website.

Anyway, did you try out the screamer maps that I re-uploaded? If you did, which one is the scariest- screamer or screamer_v2?
 
I played Afraid of Monsters before. I found it nothing less than frustraiting.
 
I played Nightmare House map (the original, never even knew there was a remake). That was pretty enjoyable but not very scary unless you count the part at the very end where I was caught off guard, screamed really loud, and my roommate laughed at me.

I also played the beginning of Afraid of Monsters but stopped at the part where you're walking on some boards outside some windows and I couldn't figure out where to go. Just one of several places where it's difficult to figure out where to go.

Anyways, of the two, I'd say Afraid of Monsters is scarier. The zombies walk really uncannily fast.

Also, They Hunger should be added to your list.

It was within reason, there was a serious virus on FPSB.

But we are back on track now :E

Afraid of Monsters is FREAKY!

Worth picking up if you like to shit bricks.
 
You sure, it doesn't look particularly freaky. Pick up the "Ravenholm" mod.

Also - Zombie Panic: Source, not scary but an OK game as well as some of the survival mods. Like OMGZOMBIESLOL
