Shari'a in Britain

Calling the entirety of the Islamic "barbaric, uncivilized, and evil" is just ignorant. Early Islam was far from these traits that you have taken upon yourself to apply to it. It was known for being tolerant towards other religions, which at the time was remarkable compared to persecutions, burnings, etc that were occurring at the same time in Europe (Muhommed even had a law in Medina that Jews were to be treated as civil human beings). Islam has given the world many great thinkers, primarily in the areas of math and history, but we tend not to hear about them due to East vs. West conflict that has been going on for so many centuries. That said, the more extremist elements of Islam can be described by those attributes, and I have no problem with that. Extremists of any movement or religion can adopt barbaric, uncivilized and evil methods and ways of thinking. In short, what I am saying is that the people and their interpretation of scripture are what is "barbaric, uncivilized, and evil", not the religion itself.

"Early Islam". "Was".
The fact that you have to refer to this mythical enlightened Islam of centuries past is proof that Islam is evil, barbaric and uncivilised, otherwise you would have something to say that's relevant to modern times.

The religion of Islam itself, the scripture itself etc has not changed. The people have. Keep your accusation on the extremist people. No matter how large in number they are, there are more sensible people out there that do not approve of those people's delusional ways and those sensible people do not deserve your scorn.

The religion is defined by its followers, not by its texts.
In any case, the scriptures and teachings of Islam are still barbaric, backwards and evil. It has always been a violent religion of conquest, Mohammed himself was a delusional murderer and rapist who spread Islam by the sword. Islam mandates that women are worth less than a man, and that the whole world must be violently converted to Islam. And so it continues. Islam is also the only major religion which is also a political entity and an all-encompassing way of life. It resembles a viral cult more than it resembles a religion.
I really don't know where you get your ideas from that Islam is some kind of peaceful, noble religion. It's like Christianity with added brutality and fanaticism.

Hear from an ex-Muslim.

Brilliant article, thanks for the link.

Also, this part backs up what I was saying about the birth rates:

The figure of 700,000 (Pakistani Muslims in the UK) has grown from 5000 in 1951. Today, because of high birth-rate, fully 47 percent of them are under the age of 16, as compared to 17 percent for whites. They have the highest unemployment rate, five times more than the British average; and crime rate is higher among them than in any other community. Fully 2 percent of the prisoners rotting in British jails are Pakistanis, the highest for any one community.

How ****ing kind of him to recognize a Jews right to life.

It's a shame the Qua-ran the very center piece of Islam asks for all non-believers to be put to death 100+times.

Muhammed seems to be very conflicted - He wants people to treat Jews like human beings, even though they are "the brothers of monkeys and pigs", yet, he had no problem slaughtering them by the thousands.

No no no no! That is mentioned in a Hadith, and there are several kinds of Hadiths, and this one is considered false... Though that doesn't seem to stop Abu Usama from using this as an example when he tells Muslims that it's ok to marry underage girls.

That is pretty convenient: People say that the Quran says "insert standard batshit-insane bullshit here", and the Muslim knows this, but if it's in the Hadith, he can always say that some don't hold Hadiths to be true, and if it's in one considered to be "weak", so much the better. If it's in the Quran, you're ALWAYS quoting it out of context. Much like you do when you call Islamist Imams on their insane anti-Western ranting.
