What are the origins of shazbot? I remember a bot in the tribes IRC channel named Shazbot, and in the game one of the voice coms was Shazbot! I have never heard it used outside of the gaming community until that simpsons episode...

I believe Shazbot is a way of saying s**t... but I'm not really sure, I've never really thought about it but it is a good question. What is the true origin of that word... if you can call it that?

Ahh tribes....I was addicted to that game for 3 years, before I discovered CS. Anyway, I always wondered what Shazbot was too.
