Show me your WASD!

Post pics of your WASD key area on your keyboard. Let others see how hardcore a gamer you are

Nice photoshop dude.

My keys aren't worn even though I use them all too frequently.
No it makes it extremely inefficient. You can always tell a WASD noob, they have trouble doing the simplest of things.
This makes no sense whatsoever. I use WASD and I do everything with "lightning precision".
It's just a matter of configuring your keys to match your style.

no not becasue theya re erased

but because there is a wrong tone acorss the keys....

looks like it has been scratched/scribbled of with a white brush in ps

My WASD keys aren't worn but I have a calous(sp?) on my right had from using the mouse *nervous laugh*

My right hand is callous. I have an evil nazi right hand. :(

Not only that but it's not possible for fingers to cause that type of damage. Not enough friction.

Also, look at the 2 key. Very shoddy job there.

MiccyNarc and Joims there is no photoshop involved and the keys got worn off due to my fingers. Here, full, 5 megapixel version of the pic I posted for you to examine: http://img280.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dscn13865em.jpg

And two other, from different angles:

http://img324.imageshack.us/my.php?image=angle20zt.jpg

(if you want I can upload the 5 megapixel sized ones)

Now that could be quite hard to edit the photos so that the scratches match on different angled photos, at least I think so.

Why would I want to deceive you? It's actually funny to read that your sister, Joims, could do better photoshopping, while it's not photoshopped at all :)

how long have you had that keyboard?

3 years I think. But yeah, it may be from some cheap material, cause I had another keyboard for 7 years and the keys are fine there.

i used to use the arrow keys, id move my keyboard to the side. but i have yet to find a comforatble keyboard that doenst have that gigantic delete key and have the keys set horizontally

Now I want pics of your hands. Do you wear sandpaper gloves?

Hmm... I type almost constantly for several hours each night. My keyboard must be exceedingly resilient.

I wanna contribute to your keyboard war! :D

For TFC I left everything at the default. Arrow keys for movement and turning; F and G for throwing grenades. Uncomfortable.

For TS I used the arrow keys and the keys immediately around them. However, there were far too few keys within easy reach for the stuff TS needs--and because my desks have always been small, I couldn't use an arm rest and play TS at the same time. Still uncomfortable.

For CS I used WASD and the default keys. Worked well, but only because CS didn't need too many keys in combat. Last Weapon, Use, Reload, and radio used up everything I had easy access to besides F.

A few months ago a friend was playing CS:S at my machine and had to redo the configuration to what he was accustomed to using, and out of laziness and for the sake of having fun I tried his ESDF. There are more very easily accessible keys near ESDF than WASD, so now I have several keys left over that I don't really need. ;)

Therefore, ESDF > *.

I used wasd since I cant stand having to reach across my body to use arrow keys. Plus my hands are too close to each other (oh and I cant move the keyboard any further left on my desk without it falling off). I play games with a lot of keys, so I like having a bajillion keys right next to my fingers. When you get used to using wasd, the "contorting" in a non-issue. Its not like your playing twister when you want to hit ~. Most people have enough control over their fingers to be able to hit a key accurately too.

Because my hands are huge, I tend to use both WSAD and WXAD. If it's the latter I usually put some form of command bind on s.

I guess it's a matter of the quality of the plastic, the keys are made from. My cousin has the same keyboard and his keys are a bit worn off too.

Pfffffffff, YOU'RE ALL N00BS. NOSTROMO PAD IS FOR THE 1337!!!!11111

Actually the Nostromo pad was one of the hardest habits for me to ever break. I saw it one day and thought "Hey! Thats a good idea, i think ill buy it." Unfortunately i never had enough room on my desk to have both the keyboard AND the the nostromo. So for a very long time i gave up all types of communication cept my microphone. No typing :(
But now I am glad to report I am now Nostromo free and have now returned to being a Warrior of WSAD. BTW every single letter on my nostromo wore off.

I destroyed two keyboards in one month, so no my current one isn't weared :p

It's a QWERTY one though, and I normally play with AZERTY's. I'm going crazy here :rolling:

Arrow keys ftw, but I am left-handed.

If I am forced to use a right-handed mouse, I just use default WSAD.

There are 6 billion people on earth and 5'999'999'999 have digital cameras, except me, so i can't take a picture of my keyboard but my WASD is worn down as much as it can be. No letter on it at all, but it is fun to see the less skilled typers on my PC looking for the W, A, S and D keys :)

Hehe. My keyboard pwns joo.

The letters aren't painted on, so no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't wear them off :p

The keyboard I got rid of a while back had a brown splotch around the F9(think it was) key from angrily reloading in FPSs over the years.

Here's two pics for you: Light, Dark

Yes, I'm on a powerbook. That means no gaming for me. But look how it glows!

Yeah I know the pics are crappy quality, but they were taken on a camera phone. At night.

Pitiful, pitiful WASD user. Arrows are where it's at.

same here. i'm left handed when i write. but do just about every sport, etc. right handed / footed.. i'm weird like that, i guess?

I use WASD, however I find nothing wrong with the arrow keys either.

Whitezero, who cares if Axyon uses the arrow keys? Does it affect you? Do the keys come in the middle of the night and carve the arrow keys into your chest and/or keyboard while you sleep? Does it let the air out of your tyres and giggle at you manically while shouting "Arrow keys ftw!!111one"?

lol.
