Sierra's page now offers "teaser trailer"

Don't know if this is old news or not... Sierra is now hosting downloads of a re-edited "teaser trailer" for half-life 2. It's the E3 and pre-E3 footage mixed together with the music from the pre-E3 trailer.

They have it in QT and WMV.

It's not really new stuff, but I does show that the publisher is taking steps to promote the game and build the hype... something they never did in 2003.

yeah... that music was the first hl2-related audio i ever heard. the first clip of hl2 came out just before E3, and it had no sound effects, but it had that music... i think it's pretty cool.

Those latest binks were playing in fullscreen, but the res was about 800x600, i repacked them with bink tools, and got a slightly better fps, made them run in a window, and didnt look so bad.

But anyway, T-Minus 9 days to the PC Zone 10 page screenshot explosion.

Call me crazy, but for some reason I think so too. Maybe it's because they're lower res and the artifacts due to the compression aren't visible anymore.
But also the colors seem more saturated.

is it just me or did the framerates seem much smoother in those clips...
