It seems to me that crazy disease of being unable to use the " ' " key correctly has been spreading once again. It appears to have side-effects, such as using "their" instead of "there" and vice versa, as well as confusing "than" with "then".

This highly informational leaflet/pamphlet should cure this disease after repeated viewings.

Sleep safe in the knowledge that you too can use " ' " at the correct moment.

(note: Original thread was closed for reasons other than it's purpose.)

Interesting stuff...Some mistakes are a nuisance, but I generally just ignore them because I know sometimes I make mistakes myself:O

The "than" "then" thing is a bit odd though...I mean, when you say it outloud it doesn't sound right. Perhaps with an accent maybe, but even than it sounds wrong (Much like that very intentional mistake there ;))

i agree with you, but A) it doesnt need a new thread, and B) you should have realised now that making a thread that has previously been locked is not a good thing.

but still, this is the interweb!! spelling is teh supposed to be suxx0r!!! live with it!

This is the interweb! I'm not supposed to get migranes when I get home!

:O

So if I already knew all that... does that make me a grammar... GOD?! :D

Well, it seems that things have apparently been too hard on you poor souls lately(I just don't see it) and so I've left this open to the will of some other "Staff" member.

dnt wry i sre tht ths thrd. w'l b lcked sn.

IMO a thread should only be loacked if it goes off topic / has irripropreate information, it shouldnt just be locked because it possibly may go off topic.

and mods do a great job, /me hugs them :)

People who regularly misspell these things annoy me alot. You don't realize that people from other countries learn english from you, and when you don't even type correct english, who knows how their english will be?

Hehe, "alot" is actually spelled "a lot".

But I agree, in today’s society the overall vernacular abilities of the common American are slowly dwindling down to pointless dribbling escaping their vapid heads. The age of eloquent speech has come to a disappointing end.
