single player vs multiplayer

in the 1% chance that hl2 gets released on steam on sept 30, are most of u guys gonna go throuhg the single player or hit up the multiplayer first?

(just a thought) if hl2 does come on the 30th on steam how many days do u think it will take us to download such a big game with such huge demand

I have to say singleplayer... but this sort of depends as we don't know what would be included in multiplayer.

I'll plan on beating SP first, then get side-tracked and play multiplayer for 4 or 5 years and come back to beat SP.

Tyrant, a guy here was told by valve that it would start uploading to ppl a week before the release date, so help ease the demand. this had been said loads of times. a week before the 30th is today..

as much as i want to play the SP, the MP seems more appealing because its been so mysteriously quiet in all the info from valve

Think about it...
You are on a broadband connection (to download a multi-CD game you would have to be crazy to use 56k)... and you are buying the game over the internet... through a program designed for multiplayer games...

Which version do you think they will be selling through Steam?
