I, unfortunately, have never started a slow clap. I have however, along with a friend, got a second applause. We clapped along with everyone else, everyone else stopped, but we kept going, and eventually everyone else started clapping again. That was hilarious.

I don't consider those real slow claps. Those are just normal claps that start off slowly.

Real slow claps stay slow and are actually equivalent to booing.
Can't find it on Youtube but I remember seeing a politician, Tony Blair I thin, getting slow-clapped at a conference shortly after the Iraq War started.

Real slow claps are the best form of pwnage.

dude you dont even know! at my school me have this dumbass german teacher and we try to piss her off as much as possible and we'll set times and at that exact time everyone will just start a slow clap she gets so pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:laugh:

I once tried at a school assembly, but then turned around to see my friend nodding his head slowly..
 
Completely out of the blue, this just happened. A load of people just watched Hairspray in the common room and at the end someone began clapping slowly, and others took it up and then it turned into applause!

Why do you try to piss her as much as possible? Does she not give a good class? Are your parents not paying their monies for you to get educated, and you repay them with being part of the problem?

The least you can do is stop being an asshole, like everyone else.

My friends and I try to start slow claps in school all the time, with barely any success. But it's hilarious.
