Smelly D&D kids who are not unfairly judged

Oh, come on. Are you honestly so intent on preserving political correctness in an online forum that you're suggesting that, thanks to some MASSIVE coincidence, they all have a genetic stinkiness disorder?

Look, I despise stereotyping. I consider it ignorant, misguided, and generally untrue. But there's a difference between stereotyping and fact. If somebody smells, they smell. End of story. Whether you should judge them for it is another thing entirely.

Personally, I choose to treat them with kindness, albeit from across the room.

I love you, and not just for the ThreePanelSoul avatar.

"D&D is nerdy," the man said, on a forum dedicated to Half-Life 2. :P

I agree with Darkside. Do whatever you want, but practice good hygiene if you're going into a public place. I just hate it when people smell horrid, it makes me sad. Like my friend who apparently is too dumb to brush his teeth, even though we tall him to constantly. You can smell his breath from across the room! Wow, I really hate him...

Look I don't give a shit if they smell. It's the whole bigoted anti-geek prejudice. It's like, "oh no, look there are some people who enjoy playing dungeons and dragons, ew they have cooties!" It's like a ****ing elementary school playground. If you think they smell, just avoid them. But don't say "oh, there are these DandD people and they're so smelly, oh what should I do internets? How do I go about humiliating and stereotyping them?" Just respect them and their lifestyle and leave them alone.
There is no mandatory need to respect what other people do. DandD is crap and I wouldn't have a real life friend who plays it.

No wonder you're in Politics so much.

I didn't get their names. However, I think they do this on a weekly basis, so I'll probably see them later this week.

Since everyone is acusing me of being a close-minded nazi terrorist, maybe I will reach out to them and even attempt to play their game. I don't do much at my work, so it will probably work out. I hope they smell better next week.

D&D ain't that bad, I used to play it a year back almost every day, had a group of friends I'd hang with and we'd tell warlock jokes and shit, was fun but eventually we ran out of ideas for quests and just started listening to music and smoking wacky-tobacky

wow, from playing D&D to ...to...a god book?

wtf!

If they're your friends, why do you not tell them they stink?
