i have an image for a t-shirt design in photoshop, it's like the superman logo and i just drew it with the marquee tool and filled it. The problem is the edges are so jaggedy and i can't seem to get them smooth. Blurring it looks rubbish and messing about with channels and layer masks and levels didn't work either. Help please?

It's here if you want to download it and try for yourself > www.howabsurd.net/intenet.psd

I'd really aprecciate any help.

I haven't downloaded the .psd, but when you select the tool there should be an "Antialiased" checkbox at the top.

the tool you use for making selections
aka point to point square boxy tool and other stuff

Easiest way to make smooth edges is to draw the symbol at a massive resolution and then shrink it back down. Works wonders. Trust me

I'd just say go around the edges in each layer with the eraser tool with the soft edges brush.

you could always flatten the image, then go to filter/stylize/diffuse/anisotropic. That often works wonders... although I'm not sure how it'd turn out on that one. You might need to do it multiple times.
