Yeah, my parent's found out I had some weed on my backpack. Of course I told them it wasn't mine, but they'll never believe obviously.

Guess I deserve it

Hopefully they don't go overboard. And hopefully they're not as indoctrinated as I once used to be that weed is somehow an evil, terrible, deadly drug.

I would suggest trying to play it cool, and be rational when talking with them. Weed is better than cigarettes and alcohol in my opinion, from what I've researched... and certainly better than any harder drugs.
 
Make them some brownies and forget about it.
 
I played it very cool. Even though I was kind of stoned, I didn't freak out or anything.

My mom called me saying "come home...we have to talk", and I was smoking with a couple of friends of mine. I turned pale right away and came home as soon as I could.

I told them it wasn't mine, that it belonged to some guy I know from college..and they said they believed me, but they obviously don't. I completely lost the guts to tell them I was going out for the weekend.. Shit

If you really want to continue the lie, you very easily can. Just because you end up having drugs in your system, doesn't mean that those drugs are yours... if you smoke with your friends.

That doesn't really make anything better though probably, but still.

Well i certainly wasn't gonna jepeordize (sp?) my freedom, so I gave it all I had on my lie.

Anyways, I'm still goin' out for the weekend lool.

But the point of view they had about weed really make me angry as hell, such ignorance can not be good for you.
 
I never got caught but my parents knew i think. as far as i know my parents used to do it so they only got mad when i didn't come home on time. i used to walk in at 7am and then i'd get in trouble...but not for what i did.
 
Blame it on the series Weeds... and get off scott free for being a victim of television!

I dunno, it must be because of my country or something but I can't imagine why your parents would rat you out on something like this.

i can do one better, my dad sometimes gets me weed.

When I first told my parents I smoked, I did so with zero hesitation and I didn't stop talking until my point was made. It was only then that my mother admitted she had done so in the past although she had always told me she never has. After hearing that, I immediately shifted the blame and told her i was upset she was dishonest with me for all these years.

i won the argument.

Omg, I can tell you that you lose right now.

A friend of my dads grows it, and I just be like 'Dad, can you get me some weed' and he gets it from his friend AT NO CHARGE TO ME.

My first time I got high, I was taking with my dad and I was like I've always wanted to try weed, and he's like it's pretty good, I'll get you some and you can try it after school one day. Back in the day he said he did ecstasy, mushrooms, LSD and all that shit, he told me as long as I never do any of those chemical drugs, I can smoke whatever I want (he told me not chemicals, he said I can do it if it's natural, so like shroom, salvia, etc.). So he got it for me the next day, and the day after that I got high as **** right in my house.

To this day I have never payed for my weed, my dads friend gives me a 20 bag any time I want it (which isn't all that often but still, maybe like every other month or so).

I must say it is awesome when my parents say something like "where are you going?" and I say "I'ma go get high as a kite and drunk as ****, I'll see you tomorrow" then they say "have fun!"

I win.

I've always wanted to try growing it myself I might grow like 1 plant this summer. Paying for it is out of the question, I'd rather get it for free and use that money to buy like 5 bags of chips.

But honestly, I feel so bad for being caught, and getting them worried, that I just might reconsider all this smoking business.

I'm 20 btw, 21 in may

20 right now, and yes, the police would have been far far worst.

The thing is that I don't think they have the right to complain about my smoking. It's my life, I don't ask them anymore money than I ever did just so I can smoke. The thing that makes me feel like a piece of shit is putting more worries on my parents, cause well..I still kind of love them and all

My advice be honest with them about everything. Fact of the matter is weed is much less harmful than Booze and not physically addictive (though if you find your clamouring for bong hits in the morning it's time for a break), and really the only fear they will probably have is that it might lead to other harder drugs. If you can assure them that it won't, then they shouldn't be too hard on you.

It's a bit too late for that, and besides, they're far too narrow minded for that kind of arguments. Some parents might take them and actually agree, but my parents aren't like that. Not at all. They're very afraid of what I might be doing, and because of that they want to believe I never smoked weed. But it's a blind fear, I can't even reason with them.

And I don't smoke often, it's kind of rare really. Like I don't know, 1 or 2 times every 2 months.
