So, RE5 ...

the part with the africans I was like wtf....

I still like him though he's a funny guy.

That part about, "there's no such thing as black zombies". Is that guy serious? LOL

Viruses and parasites do not discriminate.

HOW CAN ANYONE BE THAT INCONCEIVABLY IDIOTIC?!?!?!

EDIT> Come to think of it, that was what the Los Illuminatos's religious doctrine was based on. Since the Las Plagas does not discriminate, infecting the entire world would theoretically make everyone equal.

Hmmmm..... :|

Oh god what is with this ****ing obsession with games developers making games co-op. I love sitting down some evenings on my own to play games. Making it an occation and locking out everyone and really immersing yourself. Now, I'm not saying co-op is bad. Co-op can also be great fun. But the trend at the moment seems to be making games that are only fun when played in co-op, which is really ****ing annoying because it makes the ability of the game to give me enjoyment not only dependant on me being able to find the time to sit down and play it but also for someone else to do so at the same damn time, which is rather difficult for me in general, but especially at the moment. Especially when it's badly done. FFS RA3 being forced co-op (even in SP) is bad enough, but the co-op campaign doesn't even support LAN play, which was fecking retarded on EA's behalf.

Play RE4 and shut up. Some of us are happy with how Co-Op games are on the rise lately.

It's not mandatory - you can play the broken single player if you like ;)

I'm also glad of the rise in co-op games. For years and years there was a co-op drought and everything bar MP was played on your lonesome. Now we have a few options and some of them are pretty damn good. The vast majority of games are still single player, anyways, so quit your whining!

Don't say 'lol' unless something funny actually happens.

...If You self owned yourself...you just owned yourself now hes trying to put it off on me like I made some huge mistake..blahblah

In short, GODAMNIT stop posting this douche.

Seriously though, people having large back and forth video disputes about absolutely nothing isn't entertaining at all. Maybe you follow that guy so it means something to you, but honestly, it just makes me sad.

So I've been playing this with my brother and I'm absolutely loving it. We're nearing the end.

My only real complaint so far is that you can't trade guns. It's rather moot since you can buy them cheaply, but I still would have enjoyed some on-the-fly swapping. Especially because of some situations like only the girl can do the high jumps (which I do like). Oh, and the menu is kind of vague when you go to start a new game. I was concerned the first few times that it wasn't actually going to load me properly (as the second player). Also wtf the stunstick takes up a weapon slot instead of just overriding the knife.

Oh, and there's a thing that's a bit annoying where, a lot of creatures can kill you in one shot, which is fun in a lot of sections for bosses and having to run and so on, you know? Like even if you're good and loaded, it kind of keeps you from being an unstoppable force. But there was this particular creature that could pin you and then rape your chest. And it's the kind of situation where the second player could save you, but in this particular scene you're forced to separate, and it made for a couple of very annoying and unavoidable deaths.

Other than that, it's linear as hell, but it's challenging and has room for exploring and hasn't gotten stale at any point. The writing and dialogue is, well, what you'd expect from a Resident Evil game. (take a shot every time someone says "partner")

It's felt kind of short so far so I'm not sure it's worth the full $60, but it's definitely a lot of fun. Totally a good cooperative experience. But I'm not sure how well it would translate in the online play. I hate playing most games online anyway. Even with L4D I prefer to get 4-8 people in a room.

You guys should try playing on the hardest difficulty(You get it after finishing the game on the hardest one that is unlocked from the getgo), almost every enemy is one or two hits kill, even the ordinary Majini.

I think it's pretty long, Im on the big boat, in the engine room.
How much further do I have to go?

Not much.

Just for example, my first playthrough took me 9 hours, second took me 5.

Professional is how a game like this should be played; making every shot count and forcing you and your partner to stay close and work together at all times

i haven't tried Mercenaries yet, is it any fun?

It is fun but not my kind of 'fun' per se, because like RE4 it is timed, requiring you to memorize levels precisely etc, just like the original Mercs which was in RE3.

I suck at it sadly.:p
