So what have you been reading lately?

Last book I read was Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas.

Just finished The Drowning Man by Michael Robotham.

Good read :)

I shouldn't have read it. It's inspired me to go totally go ape shit with illicit substances. At least for a week.

Fear and Loathing the book>>>>Fear and Loathing the movie.

lol most of these books you're forced to read in highschool lmao.

I just got It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis from the library today. It looks pretty good. Anyone read it yet?

Currently reading The Pillars of Creation (Sword of Truth 7) by Terry Goodkind. Nearing the end of series, need to find something new to read.

Other series I'm awaiting the newest books of: A Song of Ice and Fire (Shouldn't be too long. Book is pretty much done, I think), Wheel of Time (Might be a while. The author has amyloidosis).

The Zombie Survival Guide (for the third time) By Max Brooks

Trap for dreams by Stephen King-very nice book with aliens and more stuff who have the opportunity don't miss it

Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien.
Half way through book 4 at the moment :) Enjoying it a lot.

Dogs and Demons by Alex Kerr.

Comments: .............

The Prestige by Christopher Priest.

Twisted and unexpectedly dark.

Call of Cthulu by H.P Lovecraft.

Awesome collection of stories. Some of his stories make my skin crawl and others are surprisingly funny.

Half way through book... What? Are you counting The Hobbit, too?

Theres "two books" per book... It just splits each book in half. So in the last two books, you follow Aragorn and the gang in the first half, then the second half you follow Frodo.

I think it might just be the way my book has done the contents... it's got all the books in one.

Good Omens, for the nth time. It's just as funny with each read and is slowly becoming my fave book.

I'm currently reading Fyodor Dostoevsky's "Crime and Punishment". It's 600 pages long and with really small letters, so it's gonna take a long time to get through it, but I hear that once you get into it, it's great.

Ive just read Under A War Torn Sky by L.M. Elliot.

Quite a good book but the ending seemed very rushed.

QueEver's Diary and his secret passionate love for Beerman.
Soooooo explicit

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. book about a totalitarian society in which women are grossly subservient to men. The handmaid in the story has only one function: have a baby. it's been banned in schools over the years. finished this yesterday. now i have a week before school begins again. not sure if i should read another. probably will find something.

Now that you mention it, I think my copy is like that too. So, you'd be on the first half of The Two Towers?
