So who else has had/is having a shit-ass March break?

Me, definitely. No parties, no vacation, most friends are gone, nothing special happening, shit weather, so basically yeah, a shitty March break for me, too.

My spring break was last week, but it was awesome.

March break? Why can't Canada do anything right?

I had my break last week. It was alright. Hate the cold.

I hung out once, jammed once, seen a movie.

Otherwise I didn't do shit, and everyone else is in Quebec partying (I didn't have the money to go). Legal drinking age there is ****ing 17.

SEVEN ****ING TEEN.

God dammit.

I really only hang out with two people, who happen to be in Florida.

So I've done nothing but work.

Ive just sat on my ass for day's and day's, while my friends complain about having to go on cruises.

Well, *puts hand on shoulder*

That's because people in Quebec are more responsible than you.
But don't worry, the doctor says you're going to live.

Mine's been awesome. Hung out with some friends, met some new people, and managed to find a girl dumb enough to agree to a date with me. :)

Well atleast I don't have to talk to any Frenchies, with their oui's and their le and la's.

i dont get my break till april 20th, all my friends get their breaks in march. no one will be around for me either.

my vacation starts next week and I know it is going to suck. gotta do taxes, get my car inspected, help my bro with his house, and possibly paint some rooms in my house too. I'll probably want to cut it short just to go back to work. and today my boss called and told me i'm going to get a raise but i need to go in to sign some papers. if they don't have me sign it by april 1st, they get in big big trouble i guess

I'm in mine now. Pretty much: wake up almost 4 pm, shit around on interwebs, watch anime from 9pm-5 am.

I've had an great March but the first two weeks were terrifying - I passed my driving test after years of trying on Saturday, and then on Monday interviewed for an internal position and got the job, so avoided being made redundant by my company which would have happened on Wednesday... so came close to disaster (I have debts and no savings!) but am safe for a while longer! And can drive now, wooop!

Spring doesn't start until March 21st. Thus, the term "Spring Break" is incorrect.

*grumbles*

Then wait for a couple days to have it or something, because march break sounds stupid.

March, is, like, the end of a 3 month break.

I have a job, and therefore have no such breaks.

Dude, wait, what? What kinda Quebec are you going to? The drinking age is 18.

If not....

*runs across the border*

I work for a living so I don't get a "march break". All of you need to stop bitching.

Pretty shitty break. Pretty much everyone is gone, so I've been playing guitar and Oblivion for the past week.

One good point was that I got a lot of new paddling gear, which was nice.

March...break.

What the hell is that?

*Gets back to work*

I can't wait to rub my awesome spring break in all your stupid little canadian faces.

Constipated two days ago, diarrhea one day ago, so yeah shit.

Well, let's see.

My friends are mostly gone. My girlfriend spent the break in New York, but gets back tomorrow. I don't have rent. I don't have a job.

On the plus side: I read up on 12-tone composition, started reading a history of sex, made it through the book of Matthew (on to Mark, what a hack), and smoked some weed.

Apparently you aren't allowed to read a book unless it reflects your beliefs.

Had a grad school audition - so it really wasn't much of a break.

Are you jivin' me?
I decided I should actually read the book I like to criticise. So far, it seems like the whole story is a metaphor for personal enlightenment and co-operation/habitation with others. Jesus taught the masses only in parables; would it not follow that the Bible is a parable as well?

That's my view so far, anyway.

1st day back from break, 2 FVCKING QUIZZES. Asshole teachers.

I worked all week, and then I made a cannon that will launch a potato about 350 feet.

Mine started this week, got it for 3 weeks, then exams and thats me done, good ol' uni timetables.

As for how its going/gonna go, well me and my band played the main support slow at one of the most prestigous venues in Manchester last Friday (when we broke up) and we have got an equally big gig April 11th closer to home. Not to mention with all my mates back from uni, i expect there to be many parties :D

Auditioning for what exactly?

That's not what I'm saying at all.

I see. Well, best wishes in finding whatever you're endeavoring to find from it.

Out of curiosity, are you reading it from Genesis - Revelation?
