The first section benchmarks DX9 XP, DX9 Vista, and DX10 Vista with a 800Ultra. But what is more interesting to me is that the HD2900XT in the 2nd part of the review scores between the 8800GTS 640MB and 8800GTX. Benchmarks done earlier didn't show very good framerate for the HD2900XT and ATI claim they have not seen the game to work with yet. And the PC game is being ported with Nvidia's assistance.

what was surprising to see was the Radeon HD 2900 XT performing so well. On Tuesday AMD sent out a mass email to the media alerting us that they hadn?t seen the Lost Planet benchmark and thus they hadn?t optimized for it, but clearly the card is performing well anyway. Performance was right in between the bone stock GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB and the GeForce 8800 GTX. As we noted on Monday, the Radeon HD 2900 XT generally performs as well as a mildly overclocked GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB. Our benchmarks today seem to reinforce that point.
