Did anyone play this masterpiece when it came out?

I bought it at Sam's club when I was a young kid and obviously I was too, well, stupid to actually understand it. I doubt the younger ones can really understand a game revolving around real-world espionage and CIA stuff. I was like 11.

I was thinking about how great it was - it was all video actors, but when the opportunity to use your gun came about, there was a photo of a pistol that came up at the bottom of the screen, and there were many photos of the gun from different angles, so when you moved the gun, it appeared to move like a movie, only you controlled it, and you could shoot the video actors on screen and they'd die. It even had a few famous actors in it, for example, Charles Napier.

Real CIA and KGB people in the game. One of them found in an apparent drowning not too long after the game was released.

I tried installing it the other day when I found it, and it gave me some retarded errors about setting some option in windows 95 or something. Anyway, does anyone know this game? Does anyone have it? Does anyone know the error I'm talking about or how to fix it?

I used to love this game. There was a part where you had someone in custody and you had to doctor a photograph by placing a pack of smokes and a newspaper and some other things into an image and make it look real. I did that part the first time with no trouble at all. When I went back to play again I could never get passed that part again.

Very fun/unique/original game I'd say. Wow that was a long time ago.

Spycraft... I heard about it (I must have heard about every single game that was ever released, because that's all I say :|). It had some really cool features. Never played it though :p

Is it vaporware allready, or has anyone put it online. I want to play it. But I doubt I will be able to find it.

i have the old 4-cd case in my room and i played it a bit when i first got it, it was fun/interesting.
