American magazine PC Gamer announces in its last edition a logical continuation in excellent Star Wars Battlefront. This play of action taking again the scenes of the saga of George Lucas will thus return in Star Wars: Battlefront 2 on PC, Xbox and PS2 as of the nearest autumn in the United States. With the ray of the innovations, the magazine announces a higher artificial intelligence as well as additional places. The play will be presented at E3 on the stand of LucasArts Entertainment.

I never played the first one, is it good ?

Its not bad for a good mess around now an again. The different armies and the different player types are good, but the game doesnt really last long, its replayable but not very interresting once you finish it the first time.

Ehh, I didn't like the game too much. I was always under the impression that lasers and blaster pistols fired at light speed, but in this you're basically firing really slow firing paintballs (except they look like laser beams). Cool idea though.

This is bs.
They abandon their fans, and make a sequel instead of a much-needed patch?
They're basically going to make us pay for a god damn patch!
ASSHOLES!!!

Crappy battlefield clone, that is all.

I really tried to help one of my friends avoid the mistake of buying it but he gave in and bought it anyway. He played it for about a week tops and then set it down on my shelf to collect dust. I played it once and after trying to gouge my brain out through my eye-sockets I quickly ejected the CD from my drive and threw it in the nearest bat of acid I could find.

It still haunts me to this very day.

Does that answer your question?

Funnyily enough i actualy played it in MP today for the first time in months.

it realy is a poor BF1942 clone though...

But somethings gotta keep me going till BF2/demo considering my 1942 disc 1 is fubar and i cant be arsed playing BF:nam.

poor mans bf192, played it once for xbox, ejected the cd burned it and pissed on the ashes.

...You people really didn't like it eh?
I personally loved it.
Only gripe is the lack of support for the game by the devs.
And the fact that crouching while firing a weapon, has no effect on that cone of fire thing.

It was designed for consoles and pcs and you can tell every step of the way. Felt way to consoley for me to enjoy. Played it for a few days and dropped it.
