I just LOVE the animation of the structures and units, the squelching sounds that everything makes. Terran come in second, what comes to mind if the sound an SCV makes as it drills away at minerals and the hypnotic syth music droning away in the background. Ughhh damn you Blizzard my hype train is getting started D:

Zerg being purely organic is what makes them so appealing to me, the living quality of every unit and structure, totally gross - in the best way possible.

That'd be interesting; an invite-only forum for the first few months, lots of tasty halflife2.net regulars, and then we open it up to the public, while simultaneously getting everyone to bring their friends.

You could do something like zergrush.net, or additionalpylons.net. Those would be recognizable, . I quite like 2craft.net, too.

EDIT: ARGH, I only read to page 3. Anyway, I quite like siegemode.net. But I still think additionalpylons.net would be priceless.

If anyone in the graphics or web design area wants to help develop the site, they're welcome to if you can do well enough. I'm going to be fine handling all of the content for a while, I think, but my web design skills are more suited to blogs and mostly-CSS layouts rather than something fairly graphical like this'll probably need... though I'll make a temporary layout and you guys can give me feedback then.

I don't know, the icons at the top don't sit well with me. The color scheme is OK. The banner could be a big brighter me thinks

I like the colorscheme, but perhaps just a tad brighter. The site's name has a punchy feel to it, and the darker tones would work better to a name with more "mystique" to it IMO.

The art is good and I think it's appropriate along with the site's current stage of development. The buttons for the three races are a nice touch. At some point, the banner will have to get some stylish treatment.

I'm not sure about the text. What exactly it says can depend on whatever angle your site is getting at (ie. resource center, community site, etc). But in general I think it just needs to be shorter. A paragraph at max. At the moment it sounds like it's treating its readers as newbies.
