Steam and realistic physics canceled

After Gabe himself was browsing through amazon reviews (since obviously they have already finished the game and just want to torture us) he decided with his great booming voice "Well so be it!, stop all production we are going to redo this thing!" this was because gabe read the following review (before the game was out yet)

If I could rate this game a 0 Star I would, or maybe even some negative stars. Halflife 2 will not have the same physics as Halflife, it's supposed to be more realistic or something or other. MORE REALISTIC?! I'm sorry, but I want my gliding, strafe jumping, bunnyhopping and ramp sliding that is included in the most popular Halflife mod, which is TFC. If Valve ends up making a TF2 it will end up using the same physics engine as HL2. Which means that TF2 will be a cross between TFC and Cr4postrike. I'm sorry, but I don't want it to be at all like CS, can we say "headsh[]t." Valve, give me TFC physics with upgraded graphics and features and I will praise your company.

A realistic game does NOT mean it will be fun or enjoyable. In fact I can almost gaurantee that it won't be fun/enjoyable, just take a look at Counterh4ck(CS for you not so bright). It's supposed to be 'realistic', when really it isn't at all, but is the closest thing that can come to realistic in Halflife. And it's absolutely horrifyingly terrible. When I play it, I just want to crawl up and grab a pacifier because it's so bad.

Now theres the issue of steam. Steam is not going to work it never will! We all know what happened when Valve was going to release it, it got leaked out before the release and was INCREDIBLY buggy, crashed and was just all around the worse thing ever. Quit wasting your time on it Valve, it will never work. Which brings me to another point. How about you make some updates and fixes for TFC, don't waste time on a mediocre mod like CS. We all now TFC takes far more skill and learning than CS.

All in all, this will be the most overhyped and worst game to date.

from now on all of Half Life single player is scraped and only TFC Source will be released it will have bunny hopping and extreme unrealistic jumping "coz thats the only thing that his fun!" said a reborn Gabe.

Op4: The same thing as HL but as a different character. Soooo boring.
BShift: The same thing as Op4 but as another different character. It's the same story!
TS: The matrix crossed with CS, and its the same motivation.

And... well you get my point. When you break a game's premise down to the basics, you can make even the best, most immersive game seem like crap. And how can HL, TS, DoD and HL all be greater than any other?

TFC is a joke... The Specialists (followed closely by Sven Co-op) is hands down the funnest and greatest mod for Half-Life, in my (not-so-humble) opinion.

If Gabe actually did want to do this, I would be angry beyond description.

At least he was a TFCn0b not a CSn0b... though his CS joke names were pretty horrible...

Well ive played tfc and to be honest the one most annoying thing about tfc is that it has ridiculous physics. Hell to him . People like him ruin a game of tfc, thats why i dont play it anymore, apart from that i suck

I agree. Although, I dont think TFC is that bad. It can be fun. But TS and Sven Co-op rock alot.

(although, the newest update of TS was really bad. The developers seem to not have any idea what public opinion is.
I want my always on Superjump back! It just makes it easyer to get around levels that way so you can get to the action faster!!!
