Steam E_mail change?

is it possible to change my e-mail on steam (and my account name) without reinstalling everything and redoing my friends list?

EDIT: Yes you can, go to settings, change contact e-mail...

You can change your email in Steam Settings. Your account name, however, is your account. That is permanent.

just go to settings/change contact email. ur email will change which is also your account name or atleast mine is. plus this should be in the steam part of the forums.

If you're buying a copy of Half-Life 2 Silver or Gold, what you could do is register a new account with the name you'd like and then you'd have one account with all of the old games on it along with your new account that has all of the old games plus the Source games.

Umm... If your "New account" (If you're getting a new username too) has the old games (Aka silver or gold) then you can just copy in the exisiting gamefiles.

Well, I'm going to buy the silver one so it's no problem for me, but I'm curious: what if I want to continue using my current account for the bronze one? (HL2 and CS:S) it's possible or I should create a new account?

thats one thing that sucks about steam. If you lose your account somehow you're hosed, lose all your games.
