And where did it say about VISA or Mastercard?

Grey Fox - The advantage of a credit card is that you only pay at the end of the month. Its kind of like an overdraft, you buy something with the card, the cc company pay for it and you pay them back at the end of the month.
Pointless imho, but there you go.
btw, address those envolopes of money with:

Just that that's irrelevant since I couldn't purchase through Steam even if I wanted to
3 and 3 quarter months... then I'll be ready... and hopefully Valve will have increased their payment options.
Since children under 18 can have maestro, and therefore shouldn't be able to shop as freely as adults?Alec_85 said:I hope to God that they will fix support for Maestro cards soon. Mastercard OWNS that card you know... Don't know why it shouldn't work ;( I'm getting desperate.
Well, nothing much to do about that besides buying a faster one.. The time it takes to make the discs for shipping is the time you'll have to wait.Edcrab said:Actually, my "3 and 3 quarter months" comment and the fact that I couldn't get the game through Steam are in regards to my connection speed, not my payment methods... hell, even if for some stupid reason it refused my card I'd just pester my parents (giving them an awful flashback I'd reckon).
But I'm 18 so I think they should be able to just flip a switch & let me do it. Tried it at the bank today (they are the ones who gave me the card) but they were total noobs & told me off. And since I do not have a job, I couldn't get a real credit card ;( Same thing with the Students cards.Jakob said:Since children under 18 can have maestro, and therefore shouldn't be able to shop as freely as adults?
-Anyways, isn't it fairly easy to get a card as a student? Or to borrow daddys in exchange of cash? =)
JimmehH said:I asked Taylor Sherman about this and he said they had no plans for doing this.
Plans for updating their payment processor to accept anything other than Visa and Mastercard. Also, no plans for letting you use a third party payment processor like WorldPay or PayPal.Rossell said:Plans for what?
