That movie is so awesome. It's an anime made my the same guy who created Akura. Steamboy took 10 years to make! Even if you don't like anime to much, you must see this movie!

Yeah! I actually liked it although the reviews have been mediocre.

Possibly the prettiest cell animation movie I've ever seen, although far from the best.

I've not seen this yet, but the reviews have been pretty lame.

I've seen Akira, but I didn't think much of it because it was the English dubbed version.

I want to see it, but the reviews I've seen make it seem like something of an effects no-brainer, and they put me off. I also want to see a subbed version rather than a dubbed one.

No, cell animation as in 2D animation, as in non-computer animation.

The images of the charcters are hand-drawn on things called "cells" and overlayed onto the backgrounds.

Although with a production like Steamboy I'm positive that there was a lot of computer work don as well.
