Really though? This has been a big issue for a while. There have been loads of news controversies about people being able to wear this or that in their line of work, and it's heavily linked to the whole debate about the extent to which the veil should be allowed in our society and under what conditions. You may think it's silly, but it is part of a wider story that is perfectly serious.IBBC is paid for by the British Public (me) and reporting on this kinda nonsense is pointless to me. To me, some dude putting a pasta strainer on his head and getting his license approved his hardly news. Hey, here's a thing that happened that doesn't really affect anybody! Cool, but that should probably be on Break.com not BBC News. Plus, I like how it's being heralded as some sort of breakthrough for Atheism or something. Yeah, fight that religion by making yourself look like a dick on your driving license, that'll show those God-Believers what for!! I doubt anybody's gonna care.
