strange start and finish

Have yet to see this post anywhere. I started HL2 with out understanding a word G man said. I played thru never seeing this again till the end. I toasted the good Dr. and here comes G man, again not understanding a word he said.
So in effect I don't know how it starts or how it ends. Do you need some high end system for these 2mins, out off all these hours of gameplay? This makes no sense.

I think he's confused as to what the Gman is all about,, so confused he thinks its a system/graphical error..

lisen to what he says over and over again, think about whats going on in the game, you will eventually start to comprehend, its not a game glitch or computer problem.

Playing hl1 sorta kind of helps... although the only real part you learn about him at the end is that he's " " hired " " you and if you didn't agree you'd die

people seriously need to stop jumping to conclusions....the talking has NOTHING to do with the pirate copy, it's just random little bugs. Noone h as come onto the board talking about how the Gman wouldn't talk with their pirated copies.

thanks for response. there is no dialogue in the begining or the end when Gman is present. It is like framerates are 1. Some posts talk about stuttering.
This isn't that good. Everything in between is normal. few slowdowns
