The whiteboard says 6/3 dis some crap or another that everyone seems to think means discmastering or whatnot, and gogamer.com has the release date of hl2 as june 15th, while ebgames which everyone knows just pulls the dates outta their asses has 9/1/2004. who do you want to believe most?
 
well thankfully, i prepared myself, back when the game had its first delay back in sept 03, that i will live even if the game is delayed till 2006...(im NOT saying the game will be delayed that far...just saying i prepared myself to be ready if that somehow happened).

anyways its not really the SP game i want so badly...dont get me wrong, i want the SP too, but i want the MP side of the game much more...why? 2 words: The Specialists 2

and also, maybe someday, Natural Selection 2 :)

unfortunately the original team (morpheo and John) have stated they wont be making it for HL2... last I heard anyway :/

although TS is the coolest mod since... well modding.

What do you think of gabe's quote "I only have a few weeks left to complete this" relating to the whiteboard incident????
 
every one knows the forth letter is a c(with a smugh on top). the fifth letter can only be an M, an N, an R or an e.
so that leaves:

Um... I think that nowhere in the article was that quote attributed to Gabe. In fact, it was smack in the middle of a paragraph where the group of students were in the office with the scripted scene creator, not Gabe. The quote probably refers to a deadline for a particular sub-project within the game.

Discretion means common sense, tact, or propriety. Excretion means defecating.

Has anyone seen their ShakyCam(tm) footage? And is there anything new in it?
I keep wondering what those people at winhec thought when gabe showed them THE EXACT SAME stridervid they prolly loaded down right after its release.. (WTF?)

yes, the 11 links for the videos were posted on the hl2.net frontpage...
 
If someone could find out some of those students email addresses, we can email them and actually ask them what the rest of the shirts on the wall were, because if you look it shows more...so please someone help me out and the community.

Maybe a chewed on toe or finger. But Friggy's more into the kind of stuff that'd melt a hole in a human's stomach lining...
 
The date above 6/3 is 5/27, the date on which the CS:CZ 1.2 patch was announced. The announcement said the patch is coming out in a week, so it probably means the distribution of the patch will start tomorrow.

Stop getting your hopes up.
 
The patch is due out today.

I don't mind members pointing out other people's mistakes and saying "You shouldn't really kick up old threads" or "This will get closed because they don't allow ... here" but it is getting pretty silly now when you're all just using it as an excuse to spam and in most cases flame the person that's made a mistake or broken the rules. If one person wishes to say a constructive comment then so be it, but I am getting fed up of going into a thread and seeing 8 people go "Banned" "Closed" "Moved" "You suck" "Retard" it gets really boring.

FYI I would have left this thread open as he did have a valid comment. But seeing as it's now turned into a spam fest... that's right, you guessed it!
