What is it that makes a culture unique? How are whites, blacks, Asians, or whoever different from everybody else? What tastes, interests, and concepts define an ethnic group? And is there any way to make fun of other races in public and get away with it?

These are big questions, and here's how we answered them.

We selected 526,000 OkCupid users at random and divided them into groups by their (self-stated) race. We then took all these people's profile essays (280 million words in total!) and isolated the words and phrases that made each racial group's essays statistically distinct from the others'.

It's not that they "like" Israel. It's where they're from. He made those list from the most used phrases And Israel is in the middle east east you know.
 
I'm not sure the 526,000 people are that representative when they are all guilty of signing up to an internet dating site.

Note that for each of the faith-based belief systems I've listed, the people who are the least serious about them write at the highest level. On the other hand, the people who are most serious about not having faith (i.e. the "very serious" agnostics and atheists) score higher than any religious groups.

They must have missed the part where their chart clearly shows not serious Buddhists kick the shit out of both atheists and agnostics.

Also, I like how nobody can write at a 10th grade level. Odd how most people graduate highschool, meaning they pass 12th grade English class, yet they can barely write at the freshman level.

Makes sense when you consider a "pass" is "anything higher than 49.9% correct", and that they probably haven't written an essay in years. It makes me sad :(

Also I like to think that I like Soundgarden for reasons that are better than most other white people's.

Hey, for what it's worth, I hate Ireland despite never having been there. Maybe that can help balance things out.

Based on that list, one girl I knew in college pretty much fit the White Girl category to a tee. She liked horses, country music, baking, and even Ireland.

to be honest people here even say 'are you spanish' and they dont even mean spain either. they use it interchangeably with latino.

I mean, I know that's technically not right, but it's the common usage here even for latinos saying it.

I bet actualy Spanish people are pissed. I hear Spain is a pretty nice place though. Kind of like Italy but a little cheaper. What ever happened to Spain anyways? They were all like badass with their conquistedors and then they stopped doing cool things.

because you're trying to kill our culture just like how we tried to kill the aztecs, the incas, the mayans, the jews, the muslims ..oh screw it. it's just easier to list all those we havent tried to kill ...umm I cant think of any at the moment
