Subliminal Messages in songs

Have you ever heard a songs subliminal message? If so, do you believe it was coincedince, or deliberate?

Please say what song it was from what artist, etc.

I think if they were subliminal you wouldn't notice them. That is the whole point of them being subliminal.

I don't think many artist do this in practice. It's mostly an urban legend in most if not all cases.

It's just a name for it, I mean, have you ever heard a song backwards.

I heard about Led Zeppelin on the web, I thought Stairway to Heaven backwards was bull, but to be sure, I tried it. It is pure coincedence about the "Satanic" messages in the song.

Most band members deny those allegations. I don't know about Led in particular, but it's safe to assume this before doing the research to find out for sure.

The Led Zeppelin one is awesome, if it's accidental it's one hell of a coincidence, if it's deliberate then, wow, talk about skill. The others are mostly either deliberate pisstakes, or they are fairly short, and often you need a bit of imagination to make out the reverse lyrics, but the Led Zeppelin one is quite long and the lyrics are pretty clear through out.

And yeah, it's freaky listening to it at night

PLANT: (Looks annoyed) I find that it's sort of an American pastime. There is what they call the in America the College Circuit, where people can lecture on Clearasil, AIDS, homosexuality and the like and get paid $5,000 a night. Somebody decided that poor, defenseless band like Styx and E.L.O., who are indefensible anyway, and masters of No Comment like Led Zeppelin would be good, easy meat for a university tour. I think it just goes to show how sad the world is, that people actually allow themselves to become audiences to other people with nothing better to do. To me it's very sad, because "Stairway To Heaven" was written with every best intention, and as far as reversing tapes and putting messages on the end, that's not my idea of making music. It's really sad. the first time I heard it was early in the morning when I was living at home, and I heard it on a news program. I was absolutely drained all day. I walked around, and I couldn't actually believe, I couldn't take people seriously who could come up with sketches like that. There are a lot of people who are making money there, and if that's the way they need to do it, then do it without my lyrics. I cherish them far too much.

From what I can make out, this is what I hear. btw it is a coincedence, I tryed it and played it backwards.

It freaked me out at night for a few months till I tried it and disproved it being intentional. But those lyrics forwards are odd.

I said earlier that I disproved it being intentional earlier. But this is what it sounds like. Besides, just because he says that doesn't mean anything. The Beatles said they didn't do anything either. There are alot of things that the internet claims he said. Like he said the Jimmy Page told him that he said what Zoso means and that he would only tell him and only once, and he forgot. Because it's not Robert Plant who was the Occultist in the band, Jimmy Page was.

Besides, if I did believe that it was on purpose, what would make me believe you? One opinion means nothing. It's all based on how a person views it. There are many perspectives that it is seen from. It's not just Satan and Occult or whatever, people think it has to do with Drugs, Buying yourself into Heaven, a woman coming of age, etc...

But based on our peripheral vision, it can never be proved. Nothing can.

Because you see somthing one way, doesn't make it rediculous another, that's your opinion. And besides, if your trying to intimidate me and make a fool of me, it isn't working. If all your are going to do is try to make an enemy because you don't like or believe what I think, then keep it to yourself. Mabey you see things as what is in front of you, I see things a little more out of the box.
