I went to my first wedding today...

No big deal, wedding of a colleague, arrived there on time, nothing special. But!!...
..On the way there, walking to Central Station, I noticed that every single chick was checking me out!
I was wearing this suite, beige, linen, with a black shirt...
...so, I had the best day ever. In my opinion suits rock.

My question for you is; Suits? are they cool? do you wear them?

I wear them when the occasion requires. They're too impractical to wear any other time IMO. I like to relax, not feel like I'm in a straight jacket. Plus you don't want to stain them and wear them out.

I know what you mean, i rarely wear suits, but everytime i wear them the whole 'not being able to move your arms freely' freaks me out, i feel like flexing all my muscles and ripping the suit to pieces, hulk style lol : D
As for wearing them out, i think im gonna wear these trousers out twice as fast as my jacket...

I only briefly wore a suit during primary school and high school. They tried to make suits mandatory for school a few times but so many people were against it that they droped it eventually.

I'm not a fan of the "job interview" suit, the one you wouldn't normally wear any other time.

However when you get to be a bit more free in what you wear (a bit more bling, a bit less M&S white cotton shirt) suits can look pretty good.

Suits aren't as comfortable as say a t-shirt and jeans, thats for sure, but the biggest gripe is the uncomfortable nature of the suit shoes after a while in them.

I probably just need to buy better suit shoes but I don't suit up often enough or for lnog enough to make it a genuine gripe.

I like them. I have worn a suit numerous times, even as a kid, for school ceremonies etc. and it was a standard black/navy-blue suit jacket with matching trousers and a white shirt.

Now I wear a brown(ish) jacket with black trousers and the shirt colour varies (white if it's all formal 'n shit).

Suits are only cool if it's a cool suit that fits properly. Cheap walmart suits don't fit this bill. I used to wear suits everyday at school. I don't think they're at all uncomfortable, completely the opposite actually. I'de love to have a fitted suit made one day.

I have a navy blue suit, a light grey suit, a charcoal suit and a black suit and I love them all. I probably have more shirts than t-shirts in my wardrobe.
