The way that everything randomizes properly adds so much replayability, and the ability to create your own mission in the maker is even better. The squad movements/usage/tactics/AI are fantastic, and there is nothing more tense and exhilirating when you've got a suspect who can't quite decide to give up or fight on; of course, when he does raise his gun your whole team pumps about 30 rounds into him. So cool. I even had a guy who dropped his uzi and surrendered, only to pull another uzi out... quite how he managed to conceal that as well, I don't know.

Then when it started to get praise, I had to turn it back on :x

SWAT 3 really impressed me with it's realism (for the time,) and I loved multiplayer because you HAD to play as a team. And what ever happened to shooting your gun at the wrong time ruining the whole mission?
In THIS game, I would really like to know where the realism is. First of all, your team members stand straight up and down like Michael Johnson running for gold. They walk as though their knees are glued together. How about this: "GET ON THE GROUND RIGH-Open that door, please."
Graphics were bad, 100% lighting effects. Textures were awful. Sounds were awful, AI was pretty good. Mission maker was okay, randomizer is okay.
I'd give this game a 3/10. I'm so glad I am a game design student. Hopefully one day I can make this game worth playing again, and number 4 will go down in history as the only version made by a team of down syndrom patients. Or maybe we'll just remake SWAT 4, and apologize for such an awful 'beta."

Sucks to be you next year thenPressure said:That's kinda funny because I didn't like SWAT or SWAT 3 but I did like SWAT 2 and SWAT 4. We're opposites!
