Could someone PROVE it works with a relevant screenshot?

I haven't even bothered to preload - I just liked the company. :)

And all of a sudden the postings grind to a halt. How about that. :)

Argh, my game just inexplicably crashes once I reach the title screen. Sigh.

Gonna try some other beta drivers for my 8800GTX, maybe that helps...

Update: Oh yeah, it's Vista x86

I have the same problem. When I use "-console" option I have the music of the title screen but nothing else appears.

(I have a 8800 ultra and Vista 64-bit)

Quick fix taken from steampowered.com forums:

Resolution:
Add "-window" to your launch options. If you go full screen, your pointer will be off by about a half inch.

I get a crash with vguimatsurface.dll in full screen...

Well, at least I get the startup screen now but can't do anything.
When I click inside the game window, my system chokes and eventually I get the "Display driver stopped responding" thing.

Guess it's a driver issue. I'll report back when I tested some other drivers (but first I need to get some work done here)...
