The Brick

Get better brick! I know we've haven't spoken or anything, but I remember you and your leet CSS skills!

If you see the light, type 'sv_cheats 1; noclip' into console and fly away from it.

You hear me? FLY AWAY FROM IT!! D:

I keep typing doctor wrong because every time I think of the word, I think of the medic from TF2 saying it in his german accent, so I type it that way. And I'm dutch, not german. There's a clear difference; I don't cheat in CSS.

Also thanks everyone, It's not like I'm dying, but it's much, much appreciated. Love you guys! <4 (my heart)

Good thing I knew your h4x would keep you alive.

Sorry Daan, was away from my computer. I understand you have an appointment tomorrow morning with the doctors, I hope all goes well and they can give you some answers.

Just been there. Besides the long wait, it was only a quick visit. After I described the issues, I had to make an appointment for an Electrocardiogram. It's scheduled in about two hours.

Sounds awesome Brick. Stay strong.

Electrocardiograms can probably give you superpowers if you're lucky.

That stop in the middle must've been frightening.

You should find some way to screw with the doctor by recording your heartbeats and putting a little midi tune in the middle there and have him listen.

I lol'ed. Also, if you hadn't noticed, the pause in the middle is between two recordings.

No result. It was a recording of about 5 seconds, so they didn't catch the irregularity (they knew they probably wouldn't). All they could say so far was that my heart looks fine. I have an appointment on friday next week to discuss it with my GP.

Not really satisfying, but what can I do.

Get some people you know to surprise you at every opportunity. If you have a sudden infarction, then your suspicions were correct!

Oh, I thought your heart just stopped right there. I was thinking, "Holy crap, that must've been scary for him."

Also, doesn't it always suck when you go to a doctor to complain about something, but it's either mysteriously gone or undetectable? Everything always looks fine when you're at the doctor's office. At least you're going back Friday to follow up.

Well it was too short of a reading to catch an irregularity that only happens once in 5 minutes on avarage. I'll ask more next week. For now I feel fine I guess. It's mostly just annoying.

My blood! H-he punched out all my blood!

holy shit, I was reading a book last night (before this thread or Brick's condition became hl2.net public knowledge) and the main character has the same condition. He said 3 crunches, walking down a short hall or other exerting activity makes his heart go bonkers.

I have a friend who had intense chest pains every night a few years ago. The doctor said it was because he smoked too much. He had to wear a tight strap around his chest every night for like two months too prevent a heart attack. The symptoms you described reminded of his. Do you smoke?

I hope all goes well, Brick.

No smoking.
No alcohol.
No drugs.
No girls.
No sports. (might change that because of this)
Little stress.

But I rarely feel any sort of pain in my chest.
