Guys, you need to go and see this movie, its asawme, A really great movie, I'm allways a really hard movie critic, and I can tell you that this is really worth your money.
I can't wait to buy it on DVD (original this time)

It's already out on DVD here.

I rented it, and, yes, it was good. :)Wow this is taking forever to load so I'm going to do this because I can't not do anything for more than 5 seconds at a time.

yea, i think it's been out on dvd in the states for about a month now

Latetly Mexican get movies really late, Hell Boy just came out today....

hell boy came out on dvd two days ago lol

which movie, hell boy or butterfly effect

Butterfly Effect, BTW is that theroy true, about the butterfly and the thyphoon ?

I heard it sucked.. ill probly watch it some time anyways.

You heard wrong man. Plus that Amy Smart girl is a hottie.

cant stand Ashton Kutcher..even tho hes being serious in this movie..

Would that be the theory that a butterfly flapping its wings in a certain way could have an effect on something much larger, such as the weather?
The butterfly is, of course, just an analogy for the idea that even the smallest choices can impact on the large processes of the world, usually in a knock-on/domino effect. It's known as Chaos Theory.
It's not "true", that's why it's a theory.

Very good movie, but the ending was poorly done, I've heard theres an alternative ending in the DVD version though.

I've read many reviews and heard many people's opinions, and as far as I can tell it's a really crap version of Donnie Darko. With Ashton Kutcher in almost every scene.

Amy Smart was horrible in that movie.... very stiff. The movie itself wasn't even that good... it just seemed really pretentious to me... as if it thought it was a much better movie than it really was.

Edit:

Kindasorta... the idea is a bit different in that in the Butterfly Effect, he can control his travels through time, rather than just waiting for it to happen. I did like Donnie Darko much better though.

There is no alternate ending in the DVD release, although there is a Director's Cut of the movie which is alot better then the theatrical release. And damn some of that commentary is funny.

I thought it was great...But if you watch it with the attitude of "I want this film to be bad so I don't prove myself wrong" or just "I like to pretend good films are bad just so I look good" then you wont like it. ;)

Uhh.. you didn't look close enough. There's 4 total endings to the movie. The director's cut ending, the theatrical ending, the "happy sappy ending", and the "stalker ending".

I think the director's cut ending was the best.

I really liked the movie. I was completely caught by surprise when they're kids and they go to the theater, the one kid gets tripped by an older kid in line...hohoho..he gets jacked...so unexpected.

Hell Boy isn't even out in the UK yet. I only saw the first trailers for it yesterday. There was an annoying guy behind me who laughed whenever the narrator said "Hellboy".

The Bufferfly effect is just an Anology for Chaos theory. Small changes causing big things. Like a rock falling and causing a landslide.

That wasn't the case at all... I heard it was good... I wanted it to be good, so watching it wouldn't be a waste of 2 hours of my life. I never said it was bad, I said it wasn't as good as everyone raving about.

Same thing happened with Van Helsing... My wife and I LOVE vampire movies, so we were really psyched about it... that and we both like whathisnamethaticanneverrememberthatplayswolverine. It ended up SUCKING (horrible pun intended) even though we really wanted it to be good. Oh well...

Just saw it recently, has plot holes, end was interesting? (shitty tbh) Overall cool concept and good movie/acting though.

True, it could have been polished more and it had some plot holes, but latetly all movies a really crap, I went to see Riddick the other day, it was a mix of power rangers and stargate.
I prefer movies where you need to think than some crappy action movie.

Go watch Borne Supermacy. Movie was really good. You need to watch the first one tho cuz if you havent then yur gonna be lost :p

I love the first movie, and I'm planing to see the next one, how is the car chase?

Very entertaining, GREAT child actors. Some things were a bit silly when you give them a thought (hey, suspension of disbelief, right?) and the end was a bit MTV-fied, indeed.

The ending was very good

People thaugt that he was going to find a way to live with the girl but he decides to sacrifice his love.

Hmm, yeah. Forget what I said about the ending.

Although happy endings arent all bad but I suppose it was good the way they did it (Not sad and not happy, just sort of...'Well thats life')

Hmm. Sounds like a good film - and I have heard glad tidings about it. Catch me later when I've seen it.

Right now I'm living in Mexico, I'm hoping to go back to the Motherland (France) next year.

cancelling his existence and giving his mother a stillborn was just sort of stupid.. she was happy with that other guy in one future and also he just made his mom suffer more.. bad ending imo

The best "Fate" would have been where he is a Frat man, but he forgot about his girlfriend's brother. The prison part was really scary, for a moment I really thaugt he was going to pleasure the guy.

I got a bit shifty in my seat there too.

The 4 Endings:

Theatrical-He gets the girl to stay away from him, and he grows up without her. He sees the woman walking down the street at the end...but that's it.

Director's Cut-Goes back to the video of his birth. He strangles himself with the umbilical cord and the girl grows up happy and marries some guy. Everyone lives happily ever after...except him and his mom.

"Happy Sappy Ending"-Everything from the theatrical version until they see each other on the street. Ashton stops and they talk, you assume what you want about what happens next.

"Stalker Ending"- Everything from the theatrical version until they see each other on the street. Ashton walks by her, then turns around to follow her.

Whoof thanks man, but I' don't want to spoil it, I wacth the DVD.
