The Christmas / New Years Thread! YAY

I got a new set of bars for my bike. I tweaked them on a hillclimb about a month ago. Bike looped out and flipped backwards on top of me and I rolled all the way down the hill.

An electric toothbrush.

A new PSU, mine has been out of action.

Money.

A few shirts, but they were NICE shirts. First time i've ever been grateful to get clothes :) (although I do feel kinda dirty, because I got an FMF shirt and don't even have an FMF system :p)

A couple of Medeski Martin Scofield and Wood albums.

And uh, that's about it. I'm happy with what i've gotten :)

Now I just need a girlfriend, and all will be well in sinkoland.
 
ruger 10/22 and leupold scope...I just threw my little pistol in for fun. I can't wait till tomorrow so I can pick up the rings to mount the scope and go shoot some cans.

I'm happy! Didn't really feel like christmas though, +5C and rain... I live in Sweden gosh darn it!

Because I'm an introvert and keep to myself, once again my parents had no idea what to get me. So I just got money.

My brother got a really cool RC Helicoptor though. I think he wanted a Wii instead, but he's pretty happy with it.

I got him Harry Potter 5, but he wanted Blades of Glory. Damn.

I got mum the Heroes Season 1 Boxset, and Dad Casino Royale.

Why would you be ashamed of that poster? You can't grow out of Azumanga Daioh!

I got my Boss DR-3 drum machine, and am incredibly happy for that, because I wasn't sure I was going to get it.

Also got a very nice and soft robe.

Speaking of Azumanga Daioh, does anyone here read Yotsuba&!? It's so much win (check avatar).
 
Toast they got almost all of Yotsuba up on rapidshare. All the newest chapters, up to 51, are up. I personally haven't read anything beyond what I've browsed at in bookstores, but it's all up there.

Anyway, merry Christmas again HL2.net. I got some good swag this year. Mostly DVDs. I got the Transformers Risk game for my friends and I to play, and I got some books (Starless Night, The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, Killing Rain) but mostly DVDs. Got Disney's Alice in Wonderland, and I got six Care Bear DVDs. I got every Care Bear movie now but one, and I gotta buy a region free player for that 'cause it was only released in Australia. And I also got a Care Bear that has Swarovski crystals in it. Look at those expensive-ass crystals. In a bear. Flossin'! :D

Yeah! I have all the US releases so far, 1 through 5. It's such a simple, happy, non-conflict manga. I smile and laugh every time I reread it.

Really isn't hard finding other people into anime. In fact it's probably the easiest thing ever. Thing is, are they the type of anime fan you want to associate with? You know the kind.

If you like Azu though you can make lots of friends. Nobody hates Azu. Not even anti-waps hate Azu.

And yeah, I'm a guy, Kakashi. Care Bears are awesome; have you watched the second movie lately? Like, most awesome story ever.

Anyways, I'm here to report my Xmas gifts..

I don't have a digital camera, so I can't post pics, but I got a green metal-flaked guitar (metal-flaked = glitter, kind of), with a red/black swirly pick guard. Perfect guitar for Xmas, red and green guitar.

I also got a Creative Zen Stone Plus, it's 2GB. Pretty good little MP3 Player.

I also got World in Conflict, good game.

And TONS of candy.

And $185. I think I'm going to buy a multi-effects pedal for my guitar. But that's only like $50, the rest will either go to games, or something else I find at the music store (I think I may pick up a keyboard, when you learn guitar, keyboard/piano becomes VERY easy). Games are my last resort, though.

If you get the chance, watch the second one. It's up on Youtube. Seriously, one of the greatest movies ever. It doesn't even really revolve around the Care Bears at all. It involves the guy in my avatar, and the only person he ever loved. The official name of the movie is, "Care Bears II: A New Generation," but it SHOULD be called, "Care Bears II: Holy Shit, He Killed Her."

Be prepared to cry like a baby.

That's how my family does it, draw names out of a hat. Except for, of course, giving gifts to the little kids. And we have a monetary cap, so you're still not taxing your wallet.

Heh, I received a Tom-Tom after a drunken rant about people who insisted that they were absolutely indispensable in this day and age. Not something I'd opt for, but it was much appreciated and it is a pretty neat wee thing.

Also treated myself to CoD4 today with my numerous vouchers.
 
I got a good haul this year, including one of the signed prints of the ruined City 17 and the Headcrab Hat. :)
 
I got CoD4 and N4S pro street,as well as Forza 2,Flatout:Ultimate carnage,Lost Planet,Dead Rising and Stuntman Ignition,plus,my parents are letting me get Xbox Live!

Nice. I have a D40 and I love it. You must (and I ****ing mean must; you too toaster) get the Nikon 50mm F1.8 prime. It's by far the lens I use the most. The bokeh is so nice, and the low light capabilities (I came). Next is a telephoto. I personally have the 55-200mm which is a nice zoom. But definately that 50mm, omg it's so nice.

As for what I got for Christmas:
Personal photo printer (rly nice)
I Am America (And So Can You!)
Laptop backpack
and general do-dads

Oh and a X360 Elite. I asked for a Premium, got an Elite, lol. Lucky me?
 
update. My girlfriend got me an Iphone and we're waiting to get our next batch of funds to start the service.

Yeah, I just got the fifth volume for Christmas (I already had the previous volumes) and adored it like the others.

Robots can't eat cream puffs!
