Corporatism is anti-capitalism, as it stifles the free market. Capitalism ironically creates corporatism though.

They lack direct accountability. The whole point of becoming a corporation is that it removes the chance for legislators to hold people directly responsible for a corporations actions. Often the best that occurs in cases of malpractice by a corporation is someone resigns with a healthy golden handshake and the company suffers a fine. Once in a blue moon a 'bad apple' might get sent to a white collar prison for 18 months, but that's the exception rather than the rule. :dozey:

I don't think corporations are 'evil' but I think it's important for people to understand them, which is what the film is about. I'd say that there needs to be a greater degree of regulation regarding corporate activities and that measures need to be drawn up to make them more accountable for misdemeanour's, to the extent that serious infractions may result in their legal dissolution, and that their staff are held accountable for their actions as agents.
