They were still putting them together new ever since the company went under though. I saw a thing on history channel (maybe it was Discovery, I cant recall) where they were still making the cars on special order because they still had tons of every part of the car that were never used back when the factory was still mass producing them.

There's a kid who took special education classes in my high school who was way into cars. He LOVES DeLoreans. I'm pretty sure he went to a DeLorean convention or something. I bet he's creaming his pants over this right now. He's pretty awesome, lol.

He also had perfect attendance for all four years. Every. Single. Day.
