When I first saw it a couple of months ago I couldn't sleep at all that night.

Without a doubt the scariest movie I've ever seen. What do you think about it?

If you mean the original movie (not the sequels or that ****ing awful prequel) then it's awesome :D

Great flick.

Never really scared me that badly, I think it was probably alot scarier around the time it was released.

It does make me feel really uncomfortable when watching it alone in the dark though.

Yeah, I wasn't all that scared by that movie. But it was still a good one.

Rubbish, it more comedy than than horror

Yes i hate horror films because they are all so predictable and not at all scary, the only decent horror films i have seen were the Final Destination films, and thats mainly only because of the highly comical deaths.

I didn't like the Exorcist at all, so I really don't know why it's commonly touted as the most frightening movie in the universe.

The Exorcist wasn't funny at all, and I never laughed once when I watched any of the Final Destinations.

It didn't scare me as much as it just plain creeped me out.

Good movie none the less

I've seen it about one hundred and sixty-seven times and it keeps getting funnier every time I see it.

Kidding - I can see why it was such a shocker when it came out, and while it gave me the creeps sometimes, it also annoyed me at others so it kind of balanced out.

Meh this is the kind of movie that probably would scare the pants off of most of us, that is if we saw it at the time when it came out. I remember the first time I saw it, it was with my mom and uncle who both kept telling me it was the scariest movie ever. It was so funny to see my Mom and uncle actually covering there eyes or putting pillows infront of thier face at parts that I didn't find scary at all. >_> I guess it left an impression on alot of people back then.

Kind of like when a kid watches Childs Play...nowadays they might have some underlying fear of that movie/dolls/etc...

I know I'm one of them. :(

wow, your uncle actually did that? that's embarassing

Thats because i cannot be immersed into a horror film, whenever i see something that is meant to be scary, a voice just keeps saying 'well thats fake' in my head.

Bah don't remind me D: I saw Childs Play when I was 4. Never looked at dolls the same way again D:

Well it must've realy scared the shit out of him when he was a kid :p but yeah it was kind of embarassing to see them both cowering in fear D:

Everything in the movie industry is fake.
