I think we'll se it in december. That would make a lot of sense. Probably the 10th dec. That is the time where VUG and Valve could make money like hell, and its also not that far away, i mean come on guys! is it that hard to wait until the beginning of december (where I think it will be released) ? its a couple of months, no big deal :S

As I sometimes have to do, I'm making this bold and big so you pay attention.

Retail stores in the US take their final holiday orders for new titles something like a week before thanksgiving. Therefore the game has to go gold at the very latest at the start of November, to give enough time for manufacture, distribution and delivery for the store's pre-thanksgiving orders. The next possible date for releasing a game is in the new year. Half-Life 2 has to go gold in the next 2 weeks or so to come out in 2004

But games v rarely get released in december it is usually mid-late october if they are going for a X-mas 'bonus' if u will.
