I've felt like drawing this one Isso was finished, but didn't want to include it in the actually story because it was too extreme for the peacefulness of the town.

So to repeat, no the following didn't actually happen, this is just a... doodle, if you will.

Please tell me what you think. I've never really drawn fire or smoke effects, I think it's pretty nice looking. This is obviously not at the same moment of the initial explosion, as you can see the smoke is already plentiful. The gas keeps pumping out and igniting though.

This will hopefully keep your thirst quenched. I don't think you'll get an update this weekend, but I do have some panels for it done already, so don't lose hope.

I like the look of that, although I'm not sure the way you've got it - these kinda four blobs of fire - works so well. But then again, I don't know how else you'd do it.

Isotown will no longer be updated here. It's got it's own official site now, which operates like a webcomic. The site is still under construction, but will be made public shortly. Register here for more information in the Isotown section: http://www.cncnation.net/forum/index.php (This is NOT the Isotown site, this is CNC Nation, a fantastic yet growing website for CnC, which has leaders kind enough to let me have a discussion section dedicated to Isotown within their forums)

If you don't feel like registering there, (which is where discussion on Isotown will take place) then you can just wait until the official site is in public beta, and I will post the link to it here.

I guess I was overreacting earlier, but there's still a sadness in Isotown leaving half-life2.net forever:

I guarantee that this thread will die. Unless you post the updates here again, there isn't really a point in keeping this thread alive. The art forum will become a dull (well even more dull) place once again. Isotown is the best thing to happen to the Art forum since Sulkdodds created his comics.

It's been here for a good 100 panels. I know it's sad that it's leaving, but I really want to get this out to more people, especially some Sim City forums and webcomic communities.

Yup, you'll need to register to view the Isotown section. (There are lots of cool HL2.netters there, I don't even play CnC)

And if Isotown bombs as an independant webcomic, I'll most likely be crawling back here to post them again.

I'm not upset, I'm not even bothered. I'm merely saying it's no reason to stop posting it here. Just because it's biggest 'fans' left doesn't mean it won't be read/appreciated - about 75% of people who like it are still here.
I'm merely thinking about HL2.net in the long run.
