The new RX-7 of mine...

I used to have a 2nd gen RX-7 *88 Turbo model* as some of you knew. Well, someone in a better condition/engine/everything car came up to me, wanting to trade. He's the son of the guy who specializes in rebuilding rotaries, so he knows all about the cars. I check it out, and the thing is in great shape, new engine, ported so it's fast as hell, etc etc....well, how about some pix?

Don't have any times, but the car is running PIG rich, and the guy said he hit just around 13 flat. When I tune it, I shouldn't have any issues decreasing that. But then again, I plan on turbo charging it

TBH, I don't like the yellow either. I plan on a "Red" or "Blue" color, depending. The body is the LAST thing on my mind, though, as it's REAL decent, and I just wanna get the engine all Forced Inductioned.

Super charge? Nah, Turbo. Easier for me to hook up, as I have a big resource on it. Gas mileage is shit since it's got a large port on it. With it being pig rich, I'd assume 13-14 mpg. Good thing my RX-8 is the DD D:

It really doesn't need much TLC. Only problem I see with it now is the driver side door doesn't accept keys. Looks like someone tried to screwdriver their way in ala Gone in sixty seconds. The guy traded me because my car was worth a bit less than his, but he could work on it *which is what he loves to do* and make my oldie worth much more. My car was great, just needed to rebuild the engine *simple if you can do that shit.*

Anyway, the car is a blast to drive, though.

The two red plug wires are just that...red plug wires. They, funnily, go to the lower spark plugs, while the others go to the top. Two spark plugs to each rotor. Two go from the..*whatever the thing is on the side* to that confusing distributor cap..*I'm used to the newer rotary using a 'crank angle sensor'* then the 4 extra wires to the rotor housings.

Well, I kinda agree, yellow isn't a great color, but the last thing I'm worrying about is a straight body. Engine comes first. After that, I'll do what I can do the engine.

Hmm? No, I know what the alt. is If anything happens to the interior, it's gonna be stripped and racing seats replaced. Though, that's probably not happening for a long while.

The previous RX-7 I traded is this one...*It does look nice, and better all in all, but it had electrical gremlines out the ass, and needed a rebuilt engine...comin' up on 200k miles!*
